YTL Hotels' award-winning Spa Village Resort Tembok, Bali is offering its guests the all-inclusive Renewal Retreat to start 2015 off on the right foot. Located on the serene northeastern coast of the Island of the Gods, the resort is the perfect hideaway for those looking for some rest and relaxation far from the madding crowds of Kuta and Seminyak.
The true essence and culture of Bali comes through in the intimate, 31-room resort, framed by swaying coconut palms buffeted by soft breezes and opening out onto a tranquil beach of black volcanic sand and the pristine blue Bali Sea.
Guests booking a minimum of three nights at Best Available Rate are entitled to the Renewal Retreat upgrade, which includes a personalised itinerary of creativity and wellness practices as well as daily spa, also incorporating healthy meals prepared at The Wantilan by Chef Martin Buchele – whose food philosophy is to focus on high-quality local ingredients prepared simply so that the freshness of the produce shines. Guests may select from unlimited herbal teas to accompany their meals as well.
The programme encompasses daily 50-minute spa treatments ranging from the traditional Balinese Massage to the invigorating Three-Point Massage. These treatments are preceded by Segara Giri, the resort's detoxifying Signature Pre-Treatment Ritual which is said to be heaven-sent for those suffering from jetlag, stiff joints and bloating after travel.
To calm the mind, body and spirit, a schedule of holistic activities such as Hatha yoga classes, creativity classes, meditation, and the resort's Signature Activity – Starlight Gazing are built into the itinerary, along with wellness talks by visiting practitioners.
Other activities that guests can partake in while at the resort include snorkelling in crystalline waters right off the resort beach, cooking classes, yoga swing and pencak silat. Alternatively, paid excursions such as the Sunrise or Sunset Cruise in a Traditional Balinese Jukong, a Bicycle Tour to Les Waterfalls or Diving Day Trips are available alongside excursions to local villages and places of interest.
The Renewal Retreat culminates with a nourishing mineral bath on the final evening, and guests are seen off with a Self-Care E-handbook to refer to post retreat.
Rates begin at USD240++ per room per night at double occupancy, fullboard, inclusive daily massages, one private yoga and one private meditation session, herbal teas, one mineral bath and the Self-Care E-handbook as well as a set schedule of complimentary activities which will be part of the personalised itinerary.
Applicable for a minimum of three nights stay for guests booking the Best Available Rate, travelling in January and February 2015.
