
Noosa serves up wonderful food and wine all year round and we're adding some of Australia's best chefs and wine makers to the mix for the Noosa Food and Wine Festival from 18-21 May 2017.
The sea, river and green countryside that surround Noosa provide beautiful fresh produce and plenty of gorgeous settings for our restaurants, cafes, bars and picnic spots and this year's festival promises to make the most of it all!
The Noosa Food and Wine Festival program has more than 70 events from beachfront cocktail parties, seafood feasts and breakfasts to food trails, long lunches and a food and wine produce village in the woods.

Locale Seafaring Adventure - It's a bountiful seafood feast served fresh from local waters as Locale Noosa in Hastings Street hosts A Seafaring Adventure on Friday 19 May, 6pm. Chef Andy Davies is joined by chefs Ben Williamson from Gerard's Bistro in Brisbane and Paul West from the River Cottage Australia on the South Coast of New South Wales, Sydney-based seafood guru John Susman and some of Australia's best fishermen for a night of heavenly seafood, matched wines and salty tales. Cost is $220.
Queensland Seafood Experience - We love our fresh seafood in Noosa and the Queensland Seafood Experience at View Restaurant at Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas will be a unique showcase of the flavours of Queensland. The dinner will be created by Brisbane chefs Ben O'Donoghue (Billykart) and Jake Nicholson (Blackbird Bar & Grill), 2016 MasterChef winner Elena Duggan and View's Andy Wilcox – with gorgeous views over Laguna Bay. Saturday 20 May, 6.30pm, $140.
Icebergs on the river at Rickys - Watch the sun go down over the Noosa River as chef Monty Koludrovic brings the Bondi Icebergs Dining Room and Bar experience to Rickys, right on the Noosa Riverfront. Settle in for a night of chilled tunes and fresh seafood with a four-course menu with matching wines on Sunday 21 May, 6pm. Cost is $195. Book Icebergs on the River online.
Beef and Reef Lunch - If you like beef with your reef, join chefs Nick Holloway (Nu Nu, Palm Cove) and Sunny Gilbert (Austin's, Mount Erica Hotel, Melbourne) as they team up with chef Shane Bailey at the Noosa Boathouse for the ultimate three-course Beef and Reef lunch with matching Dal Zotto wines. Friday 19 May, noon, $145.
Noosa Boathouse, right on the Noosa River, also welcomes Adriano Zumbo for an afternoon that will transform your taste buds and imagination with his magical creations, Sunday 21 May, 2.30pm, $195.
Flights and Flavours - Sirocco Noosa, overlooking the Noosa River on Gympie Tce, Noosaville welcomes Travis McAuley from Helenic Republic for Flights and Flavours as he joins Sirocco's executive chef Brad Webb with local produce matched with Australian wines. Friday 19 May, 6pm, $145.
With gorgeous views from Noosa's beachfront over Laguna Bay and the Noosa National Park headland, Sails Restaurant Noosa hosts The Royal Mail Sets Sail as Robin Wickens from the historic Royal Mail Hotel in Dunkeld, Victoria joins chef Paul Leete to create a lunch with matching wines. Friday 19 May, noon, $185.
There are delicious Asian tastes at Embassy XO, Sunshine Beach for the Embassy Asian Banquet, six courses from Tony Twitchet (Taxi Kitchen, Melbourne) with a modern twist on Asian food, served banquet-style and matched with wines from Shaw + Smith. Friday, 19 May, 6.30pm, $180.
If you think Oysters + Sparkling make a perfect combination head to Cafe Le Monde in Hastings Street as Shane Buckley from the award-winning Wapengo Rocks Wild Organic Oysters and Gourmet Traveller's Young Wine Maker of the Year 2008 Helen McCarthy, from the award-winning Mountadam vineyards shuck, pour and curate an evening of world-class oysters and sparkling wine. Friday 19 May, 6.30pm, $85.
Pork stars, wine and Noosa River views sound like a perfect lunch and Noosa Waterfront Restaurant on Gympie Tce brings them all together for the All Stars Lunch, presented by Australian Pork. The line-up of chefs working on this four-course event with matching wines features Spencer Patrick (Harrison's Port Douglas), Paul Cooper (Bishop Sessa in Sydney), Kah-Wai Lo (Matteo's in Melbourne) and Andrea Ravezzani, hosted by Mitch Edwards. Friday 19 May, noon, $135.
The Woods Wine and Produce Village - New to the Noosa Food & Wine Festival this year is the Wine and Produce Village in Noosa Woods overlooking the Noosa River in Hastings Street. Wander through the Village and taste wines with more than 50 wineries showcased, and sample fresh and artisan produce from local growers and producers.
The Infiniti Table with Adam D'Sylva from Tonka and Coda in Melbourne has free sessions in the village on the Saturday and Sunday where you can share a table with friends while eating, drinking, talking, learning and being inspired.
Chill out in the Sticks Wine Bar or to relaxed tunes while the sun goes down over the Noosa River.
The Woods Wine and Produce Village will be open on Friday 19 May from 5-10pm, Saturday from 11am-10pm and Sunday from 11am-5pm. Entry is $30 pre-purchased online or $35 at the entry gate and includes a Plumm glass to keep, and your first glass of wine. Children admitted free.
Stretch out and go with the Flow - Noosa's Main Beach as the sun's first light touches the Noosa National Park headland and Laguna Bay is a beautiful place to start the day, and you can join a Pilates or Yoga session in the Beach Tipis followed by a light breakfast during the Noosa Food & Wine Festival.
Noosa Flow presents early morning Pilates (Saturday 20 May) and Yoga (Sunday 21 May) for a gentle way to start your day and get you ready for wining and dining your way through Noosa. Cost for the session and light breakfast from 6.30am each day is $40 + BF.
Sunday Lunch in the Groves - Be swept away from the heart of Noosa to Maravista Farm, a macadamia farm on the outskirts of Boreen Point, about 25 minutes from Noosa Heads to experience a unique open-air lunch on Sunday 21 May, 2017.
Chef Matt Golinski hosts a stylish long table lunch at Sunday Lunch in the Groves, showcasing Sunshine Coast produce, set among the macadamia groves. Presented by Beyond Experiences. Cost is $330.
