Editor/senior producer Karla Cripps oversees CNN Travel's Asia-Pacific coverage. Based in Bangkok for more than 15 years, she spearheads production of travel news, features and planning for the region, while also writing and editing content. Karla works closely with CNN Travel's teams in Hong Kong, New York, Atlanta and London, and produces content that covers a wide range of topics, from aviation news and travel trends to culture and cuisine. Prior to joining CNN, Cripps spent over a decade working as a writer and editor for various publications and broadcast media. Originally from Canada, she began her journalism career as a digital and TV news producer for Global Television Network.

Karen Yue is the Group Editor of TTG Asia Media’s TTG Travel Trade Publishing business unit, a position that sees her leading a team of almost 20 editors, reporters and correspondents across Asia-Pacific and upholding the editorial quality of the team in the production of a stable of titles including TTG Asia, TTGmice, TTGassociations and TTG Asia Luxury.

Karen also leads TTG Content Lab, a division that supports industry stakeholders in their content creation across multiple platforms, from online to face-to-face readers engagements.

Under her charge, TTGmice features won PATA Gold Awards’ Travel Journalism – Business Article in 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2018. These accolades join TTGmice’s very first PATA Gold Awards’ win in 2009.

Chris Dwyer is a Hong Kong-based freelance food and luxury travel writer, working across respected platforms including CNN.com, BBC Travel, The South China Morning Post, CNBC and inflight magazines.

He has visited 85 countries for work and pleasure, experiences which allow him to bring a distinctive and informed voice to his writing, be it through helicopter tours in Bhutan, visiting remote islands of Micronesia, visiting elephant orphanages in Nairobi or chronicling the food eaten by domestic helpers in Hong Kong.

Previously, Dwyer spent 13 years at CNN International in the global news network’s communications teams in London and subsequently Hong Kong where he oversaw CNN’s public relations and marketing outreach across Asia Pacific.

In addition to writing, he also consults across editorial and communication projects for blue-chip brands. Educated in England, France and the United States, he holds a degree in French Literature from University College London and speaks fluent English and French.

Paul is a seasoned PR professional who began consulting in 1993, and jointly founded GHC Asia with Lynn Grebstad in 1998. Paul is a graduate in English Literature from Oxford University and a master of the English language with extensive writing and broadcasting experience across Asia and the UK. He is also Asia Pacific Editor for American Express Centurion and Departures Magazines.
