The new Bungle Bungles Safari Camp, opening this June in the World Heritage listed Purnululu National Park, is the first eco friendly accommodation project completed as part of the WA State Government's Naturebank initiative - a program to encourage sustainable tourism developments within National Parks. Future Naturebank projects include the redevelopment of Mount Hart Wilderness Camp in the King Leopold Ranges, north of the popular Gibb River Road in the Kimberley; Wharncliffe Mill in the Bramley National Park, near Margaret River in WA's south west; and, a site within Francois Peron National Park, in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area.
