Utilising a new side-shifter toilet model that is ideal for amenities in such a remote location ensuring a greatly improved experience for visitors.

Parks Victoria works in partnership with the VHCHA along with dedicated volunteers from local building firms, 4WD clubs and friend's groups to deliver these projects.

A new master plan which proposes a new route for the Falls to Hotham Alpine Crossing has been developed to guide future upgrades of the trail including the best route for the Alpine Crossing and upgrades for supporting infrastructure needed to enhance this world-class walk. The new route will take in the steep and challenging Diamantina Spur to provide walkers with access to the spectacular scenery from the summit of Mount Feathertop.
