TravMedia, the social network connecting journalists with PR professionals across the travel industry, today unveils a brand-new responsive look and many powerful new features, all backed by super-fast local servers.
The entire TravMedia platform is now fully responsive, enabling users to smoothly browse the site on their desktop PC, tablet or smartphone.
New features include 'Favorites', allowing journalists to save content including press releases, images, videos, and messages to their own area.
PR professionals meanwhile benefit from 'Profile PDFs', allowing them to download a comprehensive overview of each journalist, containing the user's biography, social media statistics, recent stories, Journalist Alerts, all in a single PDF.
PRs can also now keep personal notes on their relationship with all their contacts, generate reminders and export excel documents to track their outreach.
Calendar has undergone a transformation, and showcases industry events in a visually impactful grid or list view.
All the improvements mean registered media and marketing communications professionals can share content, connect, communicate and build personal networks faster and more easily than ever.
TravMedia Founder and CEO, Nick Wayland, said: “Since TravMedia launched in 2000, we have constantly evolved our offering. We've launched a private network for every user, inbox messaging, enhanced search functionality and more, all designed to complement our core press release, image and video platform. Today we've rolled-out a responsive look and feel, backed by fast servers, enhanced security and a host of behind-the-scenes benefits.”
TravMedia is journalists' key route to sourcing news and images and issuing 'Journalist Alerts' - requests for information that create instant opportunities for coverage - and is PR professionals' prime channel for building media relationships and driving coverage.
The industry-leading site distributes PRs' breaking news directly to journalists via high-impact News Alert emails, with supporting searchable press centres and calendars of industry events on the website.
