BUENA PARK, Calif. -- Whether dressed in a traditional gown and tux or Old-West wedding attire, hundreds of brides and grooms exchange vows annually at Knott's Berry Farm.

            And it's no wonder.  One of the most popular wedding settings in Southern California, the world-famous amusement park offers complete wedding services to couples looking for a traditional or not-so-traditional wedding.

            Weddings are held in the 1876 colonial-style Church of Reflections, which originally served as the First Baptist Church of Downey. 

 Today, the non-denominational church, adorned with traditional steeple and stained glass windows, is located out of earshot of the Knott's roller coasters and surrounded by trees, flowers and lush foliage.

            Following the ceremony, newlyweds can make special arrangements to have their pictures taken with Knott's Old-West gunslingers, can-can dancers or Snoopy, the Park's official mascot. 

            Wedding parties can also pose for pictures at hundreds of unique spots throughout the park, including Knott's authentic, narrow-gauge steam railroad; the "Hitching Post" in Ghost Town; or the fountain from "Hello Dolly" in the colorful Boardwalk area. Also available for use is Knott's historic, horse-drawn white wedding carriage or one of Knott's authentic stagecoaches.

            Knott's offers a number of unique reception sites, including the spectacular 9th floor ballroom or the lovely California Courtyard of Knott's Berry Farm Hotel.  Also available for receptions are Knott's art-deco-themed Boardwalk Ballroom and authentic 1880's WildernessDance Hall.  Knott's in-house wedding consultants are available to coordinate all aspects of the day from the ceremony to the reception. Knott's Berry Farm Hotel is a non-smoking hotel with complimentary in-room internet.

                The Park's onsite professional catering department offers a variety of delicious menu options, including hot or cold hors d'oeuvres, luncheon, dinner and a number of specialized wedding buffets.  The department's chefs and staff work to personalize each menu to the individual needs of the wedding party.  Knott's onsite bakery is also available to provide exquisite wedding cakes.
