This summer, travelers have the opportunity to make the nation�s past part of America�s future. As the official Hotel of Save Our History, the national initiative from The History Channel� that promotes history education and historic preservation, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has created a collection of Save Our History vacation getaways featuring activities rich in the history and culture of the destination.

with the following packages: � Boston�s Freedom Trail features sixteen historic sites, all significant in this country�s early struggle for freedom, connected by a 2.5 mile red brick line that links one place to another, and the past to the present. The Fairmont Copley Plaza celebrates Boston�s rich history with its Freedom Trail Discovery Package, which includes one night in a newly renovated guestroom, two audio guided tours of the Freedom Trail and to sustain guests through their walk, a hearty breakfast for two. � Thousands of petroglyphs, enigmatic symbols painstakingly carved into fields of hardened black lava rock, evoke contemplation of ancient Hawaiian life and perception.
