The Edinburgh Collection, a portfolio of unique and individual hotels located in the heart of Edinburgh has announced further development projects across the group, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to investing in some of the city's most popular hotels.

The Collection's Five Star boutique hotel, The Howard is undergoing a discreet refurbishment project which will breathe new life into the luxurious bedrooms, as well as creating a new bar in the fabulous Drawing Room which will add a new dimension to the already exceptional Butler Service. The Howard is also creating new accommodation in the form of a completely refurbished mews cottage which will have a fully fitted Kitchen, lounge, two en-suite bedrooms and Jacuzzi bath, complimented by the hotel's award winning service, to the existing selection of bedrooms and suites.

Channings, the Edinburgh Collection's Four Star townhouse hotel with a country house feel, is also benefiting from a complete transformation of the bar and restaurant with a modern, vibrant scheme that will see the introduction of new informal, relaxed seating areas and upgraded flooring throughout, making Channings an even more desirable location for an after work cocktail or relaxing dinner.
