The Beverly Hills Hotel Introduces An Enhanced Pool Experience With A New And Expanded Cabana Café And Chic Redesign Of Its Historic Cabanas

The Beverly Hills Hotel

Steeped in Hollywood history, the pool at The Beverly Hills Hotel has always been home to Hollywood royalty and has provided the location for many classic films. Now, having just completed a restoration of its Cabana Café and private cabanas, the beloved “Pink Palace” provides a new generation of guests with modern day luxuries in a setting reflective of Hollywood’s golden age. World renowned hotel and restaurant designer, Adam Tihany, has led the masterful redesign of the Cabana Café, private cabanas, and the addition of a new Pool Terrace; now allowing for private parties at the hotel’s famed pool.

With its classic brick deck, towering palm trees and striped chaise lounges, the Cabana Cafe’s retro-style continues to be the backdrop for a vibrant poolside dining scene that now presents a new show kitchen, pizza oven, separate bar area, and overhead trellis.  Lunch offerings includethe Sunset club sandwich, grilled marinated prawn salad, and pineapple express wood-fired pizza. Improved lighting and heating, combined with an extensive kitchen upgrade, allow for the launch of dinner service this fall.  Executive chef Kaleo Adams’ Mediterranean influenced California menu will feature starters and main courses, and an eclectic wine list will showcase selections from small California producers.  Guests relaxing by the pool will also enjoy the table service to their loungers and chairs.

The 11 newly refreshed cabanas convey a welcoming residential feel while paying homage to the hotel’s iconic design elements.  Fresh colours, soothing neutral tones, signature pink and green colours, designer hand-painted murals, and comfortable furnishings are among the cabanas new features.  Technology upgrades include private phones, 46-inch flat screen HD TVs, ceiling fans, lighting and premium wireless internet access.  A variety of daytime packages have been introduced, including Cabana Couples and Cabana Chill, and evening packages will be available in the fall.

A Pool Terrace has been added, allowing for additional bi-level lounging in the pool area.  A grand staircase was constructed to connect the poolside ground level with the upper terrace, allowing guests to be easily transported between the two locations.  Hardwood stairs, glass barriers and brushed aluminium handrails enhance the aesthetic of this dramatic new design feature.  The creation of the Pool Terrace now allows for private functions and can accommodate groups and events up to 100 people.

Special complimentary amenities are offered to hotel guests lounging by the pool, including refreshing mists, sunglass cleaning, popsicles and blankets.
