SHEARINGS HOLIDAYS LAUNCHES 2020 GRAND TOURER PROGRAMME

Want to take an escorted tour and looking for a unique curated itinerary with a difference? Shearings Holidays has launched its 2020 Grand Tourer programme, which features a collection of premium escorted touring products across the UK, Europe and further afield.

New tours include a journey around the wild landscapes and dramatic seascapes of Ireland, a foodie tour of North Wales, a break in Paris including two days cruising through the centre of the city and surrounding areas with Backwaters Tours and a trip to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. 47 tours are featured in total - 12 tours in the UK, 25 in Europe, 4 river cruises and 6 worldwide itineraries.  

Grand Tourer itineraries have been handcrafted and planned in meticulous detail by the Shearings product team. They offer a selection of special benefits and touches which range from: 'Home Connect' door-to-door service on coach tours; UK airport lounge access on selected air holidays; knowledgeable drivers, expert local guides or dedicated tour managers; privileged access to attractions such as Chatsworth House before it opens to the public and unique experiences such as champagne at the top of the Montparnasse Tower in Paris, high tea at the Delft pottery factory and walking the pit lane at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Best of Enchanting Ireland – 13 days from £1055pp – The tour features off-the-beaten track excursions such as the St Patrick Centre and the unusual Foynes Flying Boat Museum, home to the original Irish Coffee. There are also bucket list moments such as walking on the Giant's Causeway and journeying around the Ring of Kerry. Staying in four star hotels and charming family-run properties the tour travels from Belfast to Giants Casueway, Londonderry, Galway, Cliffs of Moher, Killarney, Ring of Kerry, Waterford and Dublin. WARNER LUXURY: A taste of North Wales – Five days from £449pp – The journey offers the chance for customers to taste their way around North Wales and uncover local produce. There is a visit to Halen Mon Anglesey Sea Salt to learn about the humble grain of salt and Bodnant Welsh Food Centre, with an included lunch and plenty of samples and tastings along the way. The tour also includes the opportunity to ascend Snowdon in style, with heritage steam carriages taking in the breathtaking views from The Summit. Tour includes four nights h/b at the Warner Bodelwyddan Castle, two excursions, all coach travel and Home Connect service. Departs selected dates from April to August 2020.

The Scenic Waterways of Paris – Five days from £692pp – This tour is based in Paris and combines day cruises on two of the great French rivers, the Seine and the Marne, plus the Canal St Martin in the centre of Paris. A trip to the top of the Montparnasse Tower with 360-degree views of the city is included with champagne and nibbles plus time to enjoy the city. Available on 7 June 2020 the price includes all coach travel and Home Connect service, four nights h/b accommodation, two-day trip cruises with lunch and drinks plus a trip up the Montparnasse Tower with a glass of champagne at the top.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – Six days from £1969pp - The Grand Prix live is a thrill like no other and Abu Dhabi's Yas marina circuit is an incredible track to experience this amazing event. The tour includes tickets to practice, qualifying and of course the big F1 race with the chance to see all the big names as they battle to secure the final points of the season. Tickets also allow entry to the pit lane walk and include an Etihad Race Pack, packed with memorabilia to take away. Entry to the after race concerts which feature some of the biggest names in entertainment is also included, plus a one day pass to Ferrari World.
