LAS VEGAS - Starting December 29, 2004, Scenic Airlines will begin operating daily flights between Las Vegas, Nevada and Palmdale, California. Las Vegas residents will now be able to enjoy direct, non-stop flight service to Southern California from North Las Vegas Airport. Scenic's one hour and ten minute flight offers a convenient way to escape the weekend traffic congestion between Nevada and California while avoiding the parking fees and often crowded McCarran International Airport. To celebrate this new service, Scenic is offering a special introductory fare of only $49 one way.

Palmdale is located in the Antelope Valley of Southern California, approximately one hour north of Los Angeles and is favorably located only 45 minutes from Magic Mountain, Universal Studios and other popular Southern Californian attractions. Palmdale Airport car rentals are available from Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Chad Dixon, President of Scenic Airlines said, �Southern California is the strongest market for Las Vegas tourism. A special introductory fare of $49 one-way will be offered and regular fares will start at $79 one-way.
