Boutique chalet operator The Alpine Club, which is based in the charming Trois Vallées resort of St Martin de Belleville, is running a unique 'save the height of a ski resort' offer on bookings in its chalets throughout January.
It is offering a saving of £1,450 off exclusive chalet bookings at its two gorgeous properties Chalet Abode and Chamois Lodge – matching the 1,450m height of the resort in savings.
Helen Raemers, owner of The Alpine Club, comments: “We wanted to come up with a fun promotion for the low-season weeks in January and had the idea of saving the height of the resort off the price. January is a fantastic time to come skiing – the slopes are quiet, the lift queues are almost non-existent, the snow is sure, and we wanted to entice more people out to the resort in a memorable way.”
The Alpine Club's chalets offer fine dining and boutique accommodation with every creature comfort possible, from full concierge service to private in-resort chauffeurs. Beds are kingsize, furnishings are designer, while the meals are restaurant standard and meticulously prepared by highly experienced chefs including Sam Greensmith, who used to work at Claridges.
Chamois Lodge sleeps 6 and under the 'save the height' offer is available for weeks commencing 4th and 18th January at the reduced price of £6,920, down from £8,370. Chalet Abode, which sleeps 8, is available weeks commencing 4th, 11th and 18th January for just £8,510 – down from £9,960.
Chalet Abode has been voted '1 of the 10 best ski chalets in the Alps' by Conde Nast Traveller, as well as '1 of the 12 best luxury chalets for gastronomes' by the Telegraph. St Martin de Belleville was also nominated by Peter Hardy as the 'best resort for charm and romance' in the Saturday Telegraph recently, while Chalet Abode was voted THE place to stay there.
Its sister chalet, Chamois Lodge, was also nominated as '1 of the best value luxury chalets in the Alps' by the Telegraph, while it has also featured in the FT as a 'chic chalet', offering 'high style away from the crowds', and was nominated '1 of the coolest chalets on the slopes' by The Times.
Chamois Lodge has also featured in Elle magazine as a 'top luxury ski retreat' and as 'the perfect mountain hideaway' in Grazia, which also said that St Martin was 'one of the prettiest hamlets in the Trois Vallées'.
