Raffles Goes Positively Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Around the world, members of the Raffles family of hotels and resorts will be going pink this October to help raise awareness and money for leading Breast Cancer charities.  Despite the diverse locations of each of these luxurious hotels, each one is keen to do their bit and show support for one of the most common types of cancer there is.   From indulgent spa treatments and colourful pink cocktails, to fashion shows and fund raising dinners, Raffles Hotels & Resorts goes positively pink this October.

For an uplifting and refreshing apéritif, guests can treat themselves to an adorable, specially-created Pink Cocktail - a heady mix of Gin, Triple sec, pineapple juice, milk and Grenadine syrup - served in the elegant surroundings of the hotel's Elephant Bar. Raffles Singapore   
Perhaps one of the most famous pink cocktails in the world, The Singapore Sling was created at the legendary Raffles Singapore at the turn of the century. Originally designed as a woman's drink (hence the attractive pink colour) today it is very definitely a drink enjoyed by all. Raffles Makati, Manila   
The chic entrance to Raffles Makati will be entirely lit up in a dramatic pink hue, as a month long focus on Breast Cancer Awareness begins.  All proceeds will go to the 'I Can Serve Foundation', a Philippine-based non-profit organisation for cancer survivors.Inside the hotel, guests can choose to donate to this good cause by indulging in a Positively Pink Afternoon Tea at the Writers Bar; or by succumbing to a Positively Pink Macaroons at Café Macaron, Positively Pink Slings at Long Bar - and by chilling out with a Positively Pink Relaxation Massage at Willow Stream Spa. Raffles Dubai   
For the month of October, Raffles Spa at Raffles Dubai will be offering guests an exclusive 30-minute "Refresh Facial" at AUD 75.50* (AED 259) with all profits being donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Raffles Praslin Seychelles  
On 12 October 2013, Raffles Praslin Seychelles will be the setting for a Pink Fashion Show and Pink Dinner.  The event aims to raise funds for a mammogram machine - the first in the Seychelles.  The evening will start with a pink cocktail, followed by a six course dinner featuring pink delicacies. The highlight of the evening will be a fashion show featuring international and local fashion brands (and touches of pink).
