We don't all ski so what to do in a ski resort when surrounded by skiers and snow boarders?  Don't worry, Paradiski is huge - 2nd biggest ski domain in the world - and has oodles of things to do.  Here are our suggestions:

What is it?  Rodeo Park, a 3000m adrenaline fuelled toboggan run from the top of Col de Chal chairlift; Where is it?  Les Arcs; How much?  €7.50/person

What is it?  Bobsleigh with a professional - if the Mono Bob isn't fast enough this will definitely get your bones shaking at 120km/h; Where is it?  La Plagne; How much? €115/person (up to 9 people)

What is it?  Snowshoeing - just pop the "raquettes" over your trainers and away you go; Where is it?  All over Paradiski but try the Vanoise National Park in Peisey Vallandry for a special experience.  How much?  From €22 for half a day.

What is it?  Biathlon - a real test of your concentration and shooting  skills!  Where is it?  Peisey-Vallandry; How much? €84 per 1.5 hr session (up to 2 people)

What is it?  The largest man-made ice tower in Europe.  Climb up with axe and crampons - not as easy as it looks; Where is it?  Champagny, La Plagne; How much?  €38 per person.

What is it?  Igloo village - stay the night or just have dinner there - it's very cold; Where is it?  Les Arcs, near Arc 1950; How much? From €9/person.

What is it?  Spa - try the ice cave pool, jacuzzi or a treatment; Where is it?  Arc 1950, Les Arcs; How much?  Available to all.  No membership required.  Prices vary.

What is it?  Dog Sleds - experience the thrill of being pulled along by a pack of huskies; Where is it?  Peisey-Vallandry How much?  From €125 per couple.

What is it? Snake Glisse - Revolutionary "bob-luge" sledges, with up to 12 people on one sledge; Where is it?  La Plagne; How much?  €9 per person.

What is it? Hiking, the very best way to experience the mountains and all they have to offer at your own pace; Where is it?  La Plagne, Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry; How much? Free.
