Eastbournes official tourism website VisitEastbourne.com is launching new winter offers to encourage New Year breaks in the town as the UK Tourism Survey indicates a rise in trips to the coast. Recent results from the UK Tourism Survey show that coastal resorts are continuing to reap the benefits of the staycation, with 25% more trips made to the coast since the start of 2009. Keen to continue attracting visitors over the coming winter months and into the New Year, VisitEastbourne.com has launched a new Winter Offers section containing accommodation deals and printable discount vouchers for use at various attractions in the East Sussex resort. From discounts at Mr Haus restaurants to 20 off a paragliding flight with Airworks and money off for passengers on helicopter flights with Brighton Scenic, to 3 nights for the price of 2 at the designer budget Big Sleep Hotel; visitors to Eastbourne can enjoy a packed New Year getaway at credit crunch prices. Eastbourne Borough Council Cabinet Member for Tourism, Cllr Susan Morris said We are very pleased to carry on working with our partners in the town to continue to add to the range of special offers on VisitEastbourne.com. We have been able to offer some great discounts over the past year as the staycation became increasingly popular and with Eastbourne providing a great destination to enjoy the New Year, the new winter offers allow visitors to make the most of their money while they are here. From trying something new with an adrenaline-fuelled paraglide over the South Downs, to a pamper package at a beauty salon in the town, visitors can put together a packed break to suit any budget and itinerary. The new discount vouchers for winter also include a pamper package at Eastbournes Harmony Rooms beauty salon and join money-off vouchers already available on VisitEastbourne for nearby Ashdown Forest Llama Park and the Blue Reef Aquarium in Hastings. Coupled with accommodation deals such as 7 nights for the price of 6, 4 nights for the price of 3 and a break at the Albany Lions or Chatsworth Hotel for just 120 per person for three nights, visitors can still enjoy a winter break despite the economic downturn.
