New Luxury Chalets and Concierge Service in Zermatt

Matterhorn Chalets launches its winter 15.16 season with four new chalets, three hotels and a selection of apartments in Zermatt, Switzerland, one of the most well-known ski resorts in the Alps.

Matterhorn Chalets, founded last season by Ed and Suzanne Mannix, is an independent operator offering a personal service to find the right property to suit skiers' needs, from gourmet catered, luxurious chalets to smaller self-catered apartments. They also provide a complete concierge service to their guests once they arrive and a qualified mountain guide or ski instructor is included with their deluxe fully catered package.

Ed Mannix, Founder and Director of Matterhorn Chalets adds, “Having spent so much time in Zermatt, I could see there was a need for chalets that could offer luxury level accommodation, with the flexibility to have a catered or self-catered option.  We can also now help skiers looking for a short break with our select offering of boutique hotels. Because we are in resort all the time we can offer that hands on level of service which many claim to provide, but few actually do!”

Zermatt is one of the world's most famous ski resorts which sits at the base of the iconic Matterhorn. At 1620m, Zermatt has skiing directly above the village and rising to 3883 metres offering snow-sure skiing 365 days per year.

Celebrities who have skied in Zermatt include Robbie Williams, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Zermatt's Unplugged music festival takes place from 5-9 April 2016.

Chalet Banja sleeping six, with a 10m private swimming pool is available for the Christmas week (w.c. 20 December),  CHF 30517  for 7 nights accommodation sole occupancy, including full gourmet catering and a qualified mountain guide or ski instructor.

Chalet Ulysse, sleeping eight, with spa area is available for New Year (w.c  27 December). CHF 32146  for 7 nights accommodation sole occupancy, including full gourmet catering and a qualified mountain guide or ski instructor.
