Iconic Caloundra resort Oaks Oasis on Queensland's Sunshine Coast has unveiled its fresh new look this week, following the completion of a landmark refurbishment program costing an estimated $9.7million.
The comprehensive revitalisation, carried out in three major stages over the course of two years, has seen the property transformed in its entirety, including its two accommodation wings, common areas, conferencing venues, Reflections Restaurant & Bar, and myriad leisure facilities.
The final phase of the overhaul, signaling this week's highly anticipated property re-launch, saw the Sunset Accommodation Wing completely transformed, including all studios and one and two bedroom apartments, with all rooms totally refreshed and receiving new kitchens/kitchenettes, bathrooms, fixtures, carpet, paint, furniture and balconies.
The neighbouring Boomerang Accommodation Wing now also boasts a selection of sleek new Hotel King Executive and Hotel King Family Rooms, complete with modern facilities and a calm, coastal ambience, ideal for singles, couples and small families.
For delegates looking to combine business with a relaxing break by the beach in this Sunshine Coast sanctuary, Oaks Oasis ticks all the boxes, with five state-of-the-art conferencing and events spaces available in a range of configurations and catering to events of all sizes, from intimate meetings to grand affairs of 250 guests. Each space features fresh carpet, data projectors, motorized screens, in-house audio systems and ambient lighting set against a stunning resort backdrop.
Nestled in the resort's lush garden surrounds, a central water play park presents not only leisure guests but also corporate travellers with a unique resort facility to enjoy, complete with grassy relaxation areas, sun lounges atop an expansive timber sun deck, and vibrant event marquees available for hire – making for a truly memorable event with a difference.
Oaks Hotels & Resorts' CEO Brett Pointon commented on the property re-launch, “When we acquired Oaks Oasis in mid-2012, we recognised its incredible potential to operate as a premier and all-inclusive holiday, conferencing and wedding destination.
“After an intensive revitilisation, the finished product is extremely impressive and we are thrilled to re-launch Oaks Oasis in time for the bumper summer holiday period. We anticipate the new-look resort will appeal to a broad range of holidaymakers, conferencing delegates and wedding parties seeking fresh, self-contained accommodation paired with exceptional, onsite leisure and business facilities in a picture-perfect location.”
To celebrate the re-launch of Oaks Oasis, travellers are invited to take advantage of accommodation specials in a refurbished Hotel Executive King from just $109* per night (min. two night stay).
Oaks Oasis comprises 180 guest rooms set amongst 10 acres of manicured gardens, just metres from Golden Beach and other nearby attractions. Additional resort leisure facilities include a central, tropical pool with spa, children's playground, onsite restaurant and bar, beach volleyball court, miniature putting green and floodlit tennis court.
