Multi-award winning travel startup Much Better Adventures has kicked off 2017 with a bang with the launch of its series of Epic Weekends, a collection of over 60 mini active breaks designed for time-poor, experience-hungry professionals.
The new series offers customers unique experiences in the likes of the Norwegian fjords and High Atlas Mountains, all led by local guides and experts to create an authentic experience - which can include food, guiding, accommodation and necessary equipment in one very easy online booking.
The Epic Weekends have all been optimised for customers to use the least amount of their annual leave for the maximum experience. The adventures are designed for solo travellers and private groups, and to be accessible in both price and level of activity.
On the launch of the new series, co-founder Sam Bruce says, “These are exactly the kind of once-in-a-lifetime experiences that sit on all our bucket lists but stay unticked because we either run out of leave or are put off by the usual prices and complexities. We've now done all the hard work to strip all that away.”
Bruce added, “We ran a small trial in 2016 and were overwhelmed by the response, with many customers enthusiastically lining up multiple trips for the year and requesting more. This is why we're now launching our full series, to help more people do more with their increasingly limited time off.”
Customer, Clare Bennett, who travelled to the Norwegian Fjords for a weekend of kayaking and wild-camping commented, “The whole concept of having everything arranged for you is what makes these trips great and shows just how much you can fit into a weekend!”.
All mini-breaks in the series are run by handpicked local guides and hosts, curated by Much Better Adventures.
