One of Sydney's most famous, some may even say most infamous, boutique hotels is set to go to the next level in 2015. The Diamant Hotel, rising proudly behind the glowing Coca-Cola sign in Potts Point, will be revamped over the next 12 months under the discerning eye of its new owners, boutique hotel specialists The Lancemore Group. The reborn icon will be known as The Larmont Sydney by Lancemore.
The hotel has been an Eastern suburbs institution for years – loved by locals and visitors alike. Its unique location has made it popular with everyone from rockstars to the creative classes. “If these walls could talk!” jokes new CEO Julian Clark, a former resident of the area himself.
“We're going to maintain all of the things that have made the hotel universally loved by those who stay here,“ adds Clark, “but we're also looking forward to adding the 'Lancemore touch' so that we can take their experience from good to great. It's a hugely exciting project.”
The Larmont Sydney by Lancemore is perfectly positioned in the buzzing Darlinghurst, Kings Cross and Potts Point triangle, home to bars, restaurants, shops and everything in between.
