Beach holidays

Elephants & Beaches of Sri Lanka, 12 nights from £2,230 per person ex. Colombo.  Sri Lanka has become one of the most popular honeymoon destinations in recent years, overtaking more traditional short to mid haul destinations and with good reason. Palm fringed beaches and warm, tropical waters offer loved-up couples the kind of backdrop they always wished for. Starting off in the island's ancient capital, Anuradhapura,  you'll visit the first temple to be built on the island, famous for its sculpture of 'Lovers'. Staying in utterly luxurious accommodation, from eco lodges to boutique hotels surrounded by botanical gardens, this honeymoon ensures couples enjoy adventurous and cultural activities - en elephant ride, or jeep safari anyone? - in a wide variety of locations: tea plantations, forested hills, historical towns and cities, wetlands, national parks and world-class beaches. Bliss. The honeymoon includes the service of a full time English speaking guide and driver.

Active honeymoons

Peru & the Galapagos Islands, 14 nights from £4305 per person ex Lima. It's one of the world's most iconic sites: the ancient Inca city of Machu Picchu. No wonder, then, that so many honeymooners want to tick off this lifetime must-see during their post-nuptual break. This fortnight long honeymoon packs in a huge amount of adventure: a motorized canoe trip along the Amazon and a boat cruise around the Galapagos islands amongst them, whilst there is also the option to trek the Inca Trail, too. Transfers, the service of English speaking guides (and wildlife experts) included. Accommodation is split between colonial and superior hotels, jungle lodges and on board cruise vessels.

Safari honeymoons

Tanzania Safari, 14 days between Arusha and Zanzibar from £2,870 per person. What could be more romantic than getting up close and personal with the 'Big 5' - and sharing that experience with your loved one? This fortnight-long honeymoon is a wildlife and photographers dream: sunset game drives in Tarangire National Park (home to the amazing annual wildebeest and elephant migration), the Great Rift Valley, Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater. After all that adventure, the honeymoon ends on the Spice Island of Zanzibar, to snorkel amongst coral or
just luxuriate on the beach.

Cultural honeymoons

Burma honeymoon, 16 days from £1049 per person ex Yangon. Watching the sun rise over one of the world's most important cultural sites, Bagan, and it's hard to believe you're in the 21st century. Burma has become one of the most popular South East Asian destinations since the release of Aung San Suu Kyi and it's no wonder that couples are choosing it as their honeymoon destination, too. Take the road to Mandalay, stay in a hill station, visit Inle Lake.
