-WWI AND WWII TOURS: For 2014, this section of the David Urquhart portfolio has acquired a new profundity, with once-in-a lifetime tours available to commemorate the centenary of WWI and two WWII cruises to mark the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings sailing in June 2014:

-David Urquhart organised his first day trip to the Scottish Highlands from the back bedroom of his high rise flat in East Kilbride in 1983, a flat that is still visible from the David Urquhart Travel offices today. 30 years later, that first coach has developed into nearly 200 pick-up points across the UK, which have ferried over 4 million people to more than 200 destination across the globe and established the company as the largest independent coach tour operator in the UK.
