Larger families can take advantage of the separate dining area for entertaining and playing in one of the 17 deluxe villas and, the addition of a private pool and/or Jacuzzi in the Mediterranee Villa, Esterel Villa, Provence Villa and the Terre Blanche Villa, the most spacious villa at 300 square metres. The private terraces available in all suites and villas open out onto jaw dropping views overlooking the nearby mountains and medieval villages.

For the younger members of the family, Terre Blanche's complimentary Kids' Club has its own heated pool with a variety of activities suitable for 2-12 year-olds. These include discovering the local flora and fauna within the extensive grounds; visiting the resort's very own donkeys; workshops exploring the local arts and sports, such as the typically Provençal game of pétanque or 'boules'; and a video games room with home cinema.

 

A member of European Tour Destination and voted 2013's 'Golf Resort of the Year', Terre Blanche boasts two 18 hole championship golf courses 'Le Chateau' and 'Le Riou', designed by Dave Thomas, which are on offer to families to play together. A Junior Golf Academy allows children from 5 to 16 years old, to perfect their putting, swing and chipping skills in order to play at an established level alongside their parents, amongst the resort's stunning scenery.

 

The whole family can also enjoy bespoke tennis lessons at Terre Blanche's Tennis Academy. Catering for all abilities, the resort boasts two tennis courts with personal instructors to give tuition to those wishing to improve their game. And of course there's the great outdoors waiting to be discovered in the wonderful, natural spaces surrounding the resort. Terre Blanche has recently launched new excursion packages enabling guests to explore the surrounding region by bike, boat or vintage car.  Departing from the hotel, families can embark on a guided bike ride through the nearby "perched villages" of the Var, witnessing breathtaking views across the Cote D'Azur coastline along the way. When in need of a rest and re-fuel a lunch of cold meats, local honeys, cheeses and olives of the region (prepared by the chef at Terre Blanche) followed by coffee and wine can be savoured.

 

Sporting enthusiasts can stop and try their hand in a traditional Petanque Tournament (Provencal boules which originated here in 1907) which takes place every day in the village square and welcomes new enthusiasts.

For those wishing to experience all terrains the coastline has to offer, the hotel has created an excursion with multiple activities: Guests may take a half day or full day bike tour to the Massif de l'Esterel and enjoy a traditional lunch on arrival. You may just opt for a bike tour to the Lac de St-Cassien, which is 15-20 minutes away from Terre Blanche. Guests may also start a downhill bike ride to the coastline and board a maxi catamaran - 25 meters. Aperitifs will be served with live music playing throughout the sail back to the port of Cannes and Mandelieu.

Alternatively, take a journey through the French Riviera with in a vintage car.  Begin your journey in either a "Coccinelle" convertible or an electric-powered car and make your way through the hills, exploring the "perched villages" of the Var meeting local residents along the way.

Adventure loving families can also explore the natural environment beyond Terre Blanche with day trips to the Verdon Canyon and Esterel Mountains - the perfect setting for hiking, bike riding and climbing.

 

Terre Blanche prides itself on its gastronomic variety, with four restaurants overseen by Executive Chef Franck Ferigutti, to cater for all guests' taste buds.
