Off Peak Weddings, part of Yarra Ranges Tourism, is inviting you to have a Quickie in the Yarra Valley on Thursday November 11. Can you count the times you've changed your wedding plans - or have you even stopped dreaming that you could manage a wedding at all? The Off Peak Weddings Quickie is a fun, gorgeous and apt alternative for your destination wedding. All the bells & whistles on a slightly smaller scale and in the end - love wins - again. 

A quickie doesn't mean foregoing quality or pleasure – it just means less fuss, the job's done and you can focus on what comes next. You can have a Quickie in the same amount of time as it takes to run the vacuum over the floor or pick up the dry cleaning.  But it is more fun, you can choose how many people you want involved and even get some stunning pictures or video to remember the occasion.

Having a Quickie with us is taking it just a step further.  We provide the basics, and the rest is up to you. You have the freedom to choose from a long list of extras – from a barnyard hoedown to a brewery bash, a luxury luncheon or a midnight supper under the stars.  Bunches and bouquets, champagne or coffee – you are limited only by your imagination.

Choose The Big Quickie, which includes a privately styled ceremony space for the couple and up to twenty guests, a celebrant, a photographer for the ceremony and ten photos (you can purchase more later), canapes, a beverage package and a native bouquet and buttonhole.

We wanted to offer couples a chance to have a destination event, but still be close to home,” said Off Peak Wedding's Rachel Caldwell “We put together the Quickie at CherryHill Orchards in the Yarra Valley, with stunning backdrops and breathtaking views of the Yarra Valley to capture memories of the day to last forever, and offer couples and their guests a simple, but stylish wedding solution.” 

There will be multiple private ceremony spaces set up throughout the orchard available for couples to book for 1.5 hours. Once the ceremony is over, couples and their guests can continue their celebrations in a shared outdoor reception area with live music and lots of bubbles OR they can opt for an extra special day and book a private space with a luxe picnic set-up just for them.

What comes after that is entirely driven by you! If a quick quickie is not quite all you had in mind, we can help couples book extra activities through our partners to continue the day and into the night. While there are some legal requirements to getting married, like signing an intent to marry, signing a register and gaining approval of the state to do so, making a couple of promises and exchanging the rings is really all you need to be married.
