With something for all ages to enjoy, it makes for the perfect free day out** while the kids are off school.
Aircraft to Explore
The Runway Visitor Park is home to five aircraft for you to explore and discover, including the legendary Concorde. The park's other aircraft are the Nimrod, the DC-10, Trident and the Avro RJX.
Hop inside and take a look at these magnificent machines and learn about how they got off the ground and what it would have been like to be a passenger. Why not take to the cockpit and let your little ones play at being a pilot at the controls.
Stunning Views to Enjoy
The Runway Visitor Park is in a prime spot for incredible 180 degree views across the airfield at Manchester Airport. Sit or stand and take in hundreds of air movements each day with aircraft such as the giant Airbus A380 and the new Dreamliner departing and arriving.
Family Fun
It's not all planes at the Runway Visitor Park - let your little ones blow off some steam in the purpose built play area. Also, why not visit the aviation shop as well, where all the family can find a perfect memento from their visit.
Food to Refuel
After all that action and fun why not refuel in one of the two on site food outlets.
Ringways Restaurant situated alongside the Concorde Hangar, offers stunning views of Concorde and both runways. With home-cooked food and vegetarian options available, it has something to suit every taste. Takeaway Service restaurant offers a counter service with fast food, sandwiches, snacks and drinks to takeaway. It is located towards the rear of the hangar, close to the Avro RJX, with picnic tables outside to enjoy the stunning views while you eat.
