Plan a cosy winter retreat in one of our rural deluxe cottages, set in the heart of a privately-owned historic estate with acres of woods, parkland and gardens to explore. There are ten cottages in total on the estate, each one with an elegantly-designed stylish interior, all the mod cons you need and fireside evenings bringing warmth and comfort to the midwinter. Book a 'nano-break', a two night stay with prices midweek from only £199 for a cottage to sleep 4 (weekend two night breaks are £260 - offers available until 31st March 2014. Larger cottages are available at a different price.)
For those wishing to travel with extended groups of family and friends, book two or more cottages before 31st December (Stay between now and the end of February, 2014) and receive up to 10% discount (on stay of min 3 nights or 5% on our 2 night Nano-breaks)
Do as much or as little as you please but make sure that you pack your walking boots and camera, to capture the natural flora, fauna and landscapes. Bikes are available to borrow on site, and you can even have a break from cooking with superb breakfast hampers and home-made 'ready' meals making catering a breeze, and wine can be pre-ordered. Or sample the delicious local pub food at nearby Combermere Arms, just at the end of the estate drive.
Hone your cookery skills at nearby Harthill Cookery School, where a number of half and full day courses are available from just £67.50 (which includes exclusive 10% discount for our cottage guests) There are courses on a range of skills including cooking with game, fish, one pot entertaining, bread making and Indian cuisine.
Chill out completely in the comfort of your own cottage with an organic spa treatment, for example a full body aromatherapy massage or sugar scrub with treatment prices from just £35 (www.mypersonalsanctuary.co.uk)
The collection of ten cottages includes two which are larger, sleeping eight or ten guests.
