In spite of the warm temperatures in Florida at Christmas, there will be over 900 tonnes of ICE in Kissimmee. Each year, the Gaylord Palms Resort puts on a spectacular display of hand-carved ice sculptures and the theme of this year's ICE! show is Frosty the Snowman with a brand new live ice-carving zone.

Frosty the Snowman is featured in a magical retelling of the original Christmas classic. More than two million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures bring your favourite scenes to life and include four ice slides for adults and children. A team of 40 talented artisans from China spent more than a month creating this one-of-a-kind attraction.

The new "Artisans in Action," area features a masterful ice carver from China who will create incredible sculptures before your eyes.

ICE! takes place on 23 November 2013 - 5 January 2014 at Gaylord Palms Resort. The Resort is located on 63 acres and is reminiscent of a grand Florida mansion. It has recently undergone a $50 million renovation to include two new spectacular swimming pools, a multi-level dining venue and new modern guest rooms. It also has the famous DreamWorks Experience which features films such as Shrek, Kung Fu and Madagascar.
