He’s been castaway on a Scottish island, raced across the Antarctic and trekked the Sahara – and now adventurer Ben Fogle can finally put all that experience to good use as he takes to the seas with Celebrity Cruises.

The writer and broadcaster’s latest adventure will see Ben partner with Celebrity Cruises as its ‘Destination Expert’, giving him the chance to share his knowledge of the world with the cruise line’s guests and even shape the experiences they have on holiday.

To launch the partnership, Ben has filmed a selection of destination guides offering guests tips and advice of where to go and what to do in a variety of cities visited by Celebrity Cruises. Later this year, Ben and Celebrity Cruises will launch a series of exclusive ‘Ben Fogle inspired’ shore excursions which will be rolled out in a selection of destinations worldwide during 2014. Already leading the way in innovative and exclusive shore excursions, Celebrity Cruises will also launch Celebrity Exclusives in 2014 which include a selection of once in lifetime experiences such as a private helicopter transfer to lunch at to La Bastide de Moustiers, Alain Ducasse’s charming Provencal inn or snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters of Mountain Point in southeast Alaska.
