Aviair, the multiple award winning scenic tour operator and member of the Western Australia Tourism Hall of Fame, is pleased with the results of its attendance at World Travel Market in London, the leading global event for the travel and tourism industry.
Formerly known as Slingair Heliwork WA, Aviair made World Travel Market in London the location for the debut of their new 2015/16 Scenic Tours brochure and to present their new range of combination tours to a selection of inbound tour operators, retail travel agents and wholesalers. James Blake General Manager Commercial for Aviair's parent company Aviator Group said “World Travel Market was an ideal location to meet with clients from North America, the Middle East, and Asia under one roof and to present Aviair's new brand and superior product offering”.
While unveiling Aviair's selection of scenic air safaris and their greater range of combination tours that offer four wheel drive touring, helicopter flights, and trekking in the Bungle Bungle Range to cruises of the spectacular Ord River and Lake Argyle; James Blake went on to say “Kununurra is served frequently by Virgin Australia from Perth and by Qantas (operated by Air North) from Broome and Darwin. Both carriers far reaching international alliance networks make it easy to combine the Kimberley into a greater international travel itinerary that will ensure a scenic experience that can only be described as a feast for the eyes”.
Aviair's scenic air tours can be booked either directly with Aviair or via most high street travel agents. “We are proud that our scenic air tours are available for customers to book through a global reaching selection of major tour and cruise operators as a component of wider itineraries and also by local tour agencies in our locality” said James Blake.
Aviair's new brochure is available to download from their website at www.aviair.com.au.
Editor notes:
Aviair solely operates the Cessna Grand Caravan, which it introduced into the Kimberley in 1994. The Cessna Grand Caravan (pictured) is a Prop Jet, air-conditioned, high wing, PA equipped comfortable aircraft. The aircraft offers a centre aisle, greater legroom and headroom than any other scenic flight aircraft in the Kimberley. In addition the safety and reliability record of this aircraft type is one of the highest in its class, thereby maximising passenger safety and comfort. Aviair is proud to operate the youngest fleet of scenic tour aircraft in the Kimberley.
Aviair is a subsidiary of the Aviator Group, a general aviation specialist with operations around Australia. Aviair operates 8 Cessna 208 Caravan turbo prop aircraft each with a 13 passenger seat capacity. The company's head office is in Kununurra with a base in Broome.
