Cruise Passenger magazine has announced the winners of its prestigious Readers' Choice Awards 2013.

For almost a decade, Cruise Passenger Readers’ Choice Awards have provided vital feedback to the Australian cruise industry.

With more choice than ever, the need for genuine reviews of experience, service and satisfaction has never been so important.

Cruise Passenger and cruisepassenger.com.au, Australia’s only dedicated cruise publisher with a 15-year history, receives thousands of reviews and comments from its 56,000 readers every year.

The Cruise Passenger's Reader’s Choice Awards are the culmination of all of that feedback.

The awards are among the world’s most comprehensive, covering everything from ships to ports, from luxury to adventure.

Though many of Australia’s old favorites still rank highly, this year has seen a number of new winners – Seaborn and Cunard.

And, after a very tight race between P&O and Royal Caribbean, echoing their epic battle for dominance on the seas, P&O took out best mid-range cruise line (Royal Caribbean was number 2) while Radiance of the Seas won best mid-range cruise ship (P&O’s Pacific Dawn was second).

Other duels included Best Luxury Cruise Ship, where Seabourn and Silversea battled it out, and in adventure, where Silversea and Orion locked horns.

Australia’s Scenic Tours took out Best River Cruise Line while APT’s AmaBella won Best River Cruise Ship.
