Airtrain Now Connecting Brisbane Airport, CBD and Gold Coast.

Airtrain

When visiting Brisbane or the Gold Coast in Australia, take the high way in the sky with Airtrain, sunny Queenslands new world-class rail link.

Airtrains convenient rail link connects Brisbane Airports Domestic and International terminals to Brisbane city central and the Gold Coast the fast, easy, reliable and friendly way to reach your Queensland destination.

The one-way fare from the Airport to Brisbanes CBD is competitively priced at (in Australian dollars) $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Train fares to Gold Coast stations range between $12.95 for Beenleigh Station to $17.80 for Robina station (standard one-way adult fares). Prices include Goods and Services Tax, and are subject to change to QR's component of the fare.

The service stops at five key stations in Brisbanes heart: Central, Roma Street, Brunswick Street in Fortitude Valley, Bowen Hills and South Brisbane. Services between airport and Gold Coast stop at all QR Gold Coast stations.

The 22 minute service between the airport and Brisbanes city centre runs up to four times an hour in the cool, calm, air-conditioned comfort of Queensland Rail trains. Services between Gold Coast stations and the airport run around twice an hour, giving passengers a maximum 92-minute relaxing, scenic cruise in the comfort of air-conditioned train carriages with overhead luggage racks and toilets.

A number of bus connections currently meet QR Gold Coast trains, and Airtrain also runs its own premium coach transfer service for visitors to the Gold Coast. This service, AirtrainConnect, transfers passengers from QR's Nerang station on the Gold Coast to hotels and accommodation houses located between Broadbeach and Southport Spit. Airtrain Connect is priced at $30 one-way for adults, and $15 for children (this price includes train travel and coach transfer).

Airtrains two impressive new stations, conveniently placed right next to the Brisbane Airports International and Domestic terminals via short covered walkways, allow travellers to connect straight from the plane to the train, or vice versa, according to Mr Ken Devencorn, General Manager of Airtrain.

Easy to use ticket machines and friendly Airtrain staff who are ready to help with ticketing, luggage, and transport and tourism enquiries, are designed to make travelling with Airtrain a hassle-free experience.

A private rail operator, Airtrain is fully integrated with the Queensland Rail (QR) station network, meaning passengers don't have to change trains to reach QR stations in Brisbane's city heart or on the Gold Coast.

Because we have integrated very closely with the railway network, and because of the frequency of Airtrain, we will be able to provide an excellent service for passengers using Brisbane Airport, said Mr Devencorn.
