Luxury tour operator launches new programme including unique features; no single supplement and Design Your DaySM 

Luxury tour operator Abercrombie & Kent has launched its 2019/2020 Escorted Tours programme, including the innovative Immersive Journeys - a range of unique small group tours unrivalled in the market.

Limited to a maximum of 18 guests, escorted tours are led by A&K's resident tour directors, and feature only the best in five-star luxury accommodation and experiences. Whether it's an intimate visit with the locals in a remote Peruvian village or peeking inside the vaults of a museum, A&K's insider access will get you there.

Abercrombie & Kent offer two types of touring – Luxury Small Group Journey and a new addition, Immersive Journeys.

Key Features of all A&K's Escorted Tours:

• Tour directors and guides who have unmatched experience with insight into local culture from their permanent immersion there
• Guaranteed departures once there are two people booked on an A&K Escorted Tour. We guarantee that no tour will have more than 18 guests on it, and the average is about 14
• No surprise expenses – entrance fees, taxes, and tips are included
• Welcome and farewell dinners provided to meet with other guests
• Wi-Fi in accommodation is included wherever possible

Immersive Journeys provide the support of an escorted group, but with a bit more freedom. Taking every day at a more leisurely pace, these trips are in-depth and informative, giving guests the chance to understand the culture, history, and get under the skin of a destination. There is no single supplement for the first four solo places booked. The innovative, Design Your DaySM concept allows guests to choose the experience best suited to them on select days, across a variety of interests. These are grouped into three themes and include Arts and Culture, Culinary Delights and Active. To celebrate the launch of the programme, A&K is offering a reduced deposit of £250 if confirmed by 31 December.

Luxury Small Group Journeys travel at a faster pace than Immersive Journeys, and guests will be sure to experience and understand all the facets of a destination, thanks to expert guides. Guests have access to VIP Travelling BellboySM; a Traveller's ValetSM; unique and varied dining experiences; and the opportunity to Ride like a Local.

In total there are 13 new immersive journeys to the portfolio, across 5 continents and 12 countries. Luxury Small Group Journeys total 31 across the world.
