Is it a goal, a hole-in-one or even a hat-trick? We're not quite sure, but one thing is certain – things are set to get exciting as BEST WESTERN Mytton Fold Hotel & Golf Club launches FootGolf from 7 September 2014.
With all the excitement of football and the precision of golf, FootGolf replaces tee times with kick offs and goals with holes to create the ultimate in ball games. The aim of the game is simple and requires players to get the football in the hole in as few kicks as possible. The game is perfect for some family fun enjoyed over nine holes, whilst fitness fanatics can chase the ball around the full 18-hole course.
Barbara Bryan director of BEST WESTERN Mytton Fold Hotel & Golf Club, said: “We will be the first golf club in Lancashire to offer FootGolf when we launch the sport next month. With the Ryder Cup just around the corner and the football season upon us it's an exciting time for the hotel to be introducing FootGolf.”
In a sporting world that has never before seen the off-side rule combined with birdies and half-time swapped with play throughs – FootGolf has taken the world by storm and is the fastest growing sport worldwide*.
Prices start from £10 per person for 18-holes and is available to book from 7 September.
Rooms at BEST WESTERN Mytton Fold Hotel & Golf Club start from £75 per room, per night based on two adults sharing including breakfast.
