Quality Villas, Cottages, Unearthed

Whilst there are numerous destinations in France that are home to splendid vineyards, the Cote d'Azur is an excellent spot for those wishing to combine the characteristic relaxation of the Cote d'Azur with a little wine tasting, and with great offers on some close-by villas.

Whether wine is a passion and the focal point of a holiday or visiting some vineyards is the ideal complement to a holiday, Quality Villas have some great deals on villas this summer near some less known vineyards.

Vignoble des Hautes Collines, inland Cote D'Azur, Saint-Jeannet

Unlike most wines, it is first placed in large glass bottles, then left in direct sunlight for several months. Quite unique! After this period has elapsed, the wine then follows a more traditional method of being matured in oak barrels. Visits available by request.

Take a group of wine loving friends and book Villa Prestige, Nr Vence and within easy driving distance of Haute Collines. With £1815 off all remaining summer weeks it's an offer not to miss! (Now £8795 per week)

Chateau de Cremat, Nice

Located in the Appellation d'Origine Controlee (AOC) Bellet, Chateau de Cremat was built more than 100 years ago. Offering guided visits that last approximately an hour (and are available in both English and French), this spectacular vineyard sits above the Var Valley. Its dramatic location means it's well known for its beautiful views, as well as its excellent wine tastings – meaning there's more than one reason to come here.

Stay at Les Lauriers, a villa with great views like Chateau de Cremat with savings on up to £615 per week on remaining dates from July - Oct.(From £2995 per week)

Domaine de l'Abbaye de Lerins, off the coast of Cannes

Located just off the coast of Cannes, the Ile Saint-Honorat has a long and rich wine-making history that dates all the way back to the Middle Ages. On this little isle, a group of monks tend to some eight hectares of vineyards and produce some excellent wines – in fact, their bottles are considered to be among the finest in France.

As well as visiting the vineyard in person, it is worth looking out for bottles from this winery which is often used by local Michelin-starred chefs.

Villa Adagio, is at Mougins, the closest hilltip village to Cannes. Vignoble des Hautes Collines de la Cote d'Azur. £310 per week of all remaning summer weeks. (Now £3240 per week)
