The demand for Lakes and Mountains holidays is the highest Thomson has experienced leading us to add 5 new resorts to its programme which encompasses 10 countries.

Safety, health and the feeling of well-being which comes with an active holiday in the outdoors, are among the reasons clients give us for booking lakes and mountain holidays for the season April to October 2004.

In ITALY we feature one new resort, Torri del Benaco on Lake Garda.

To AUSTRIA we have added Zauchensee, the first summer inclusive Magic Mountain resort. Included in the holiday price are activities like power walking, self defence lessons, inline skating instruction, soccer camp for children aged 10-14, surf & sail for children aged 6-14 years and much more.

Two new resorts in CROATIA: one of them is the small, traffic-free Lopud Island just of the coast of Dubrovnik (all-inclusive resort) and the other one Vrsar on the Istrian coast.

In FRANCE we have added Morzine in the Alps, a perfect base to explore the Haute Savoie region.

In Switzerland, we expanded our programme with a �Summits Tour�, a 10 or 11 night independent rail tour. In Austria, we added a 7 night �Danube Cycling Tour � starting in Passau and taking you all the way to Vienna, downhill, and in Norway the �Splendours Tour� from Bergen to three spectacular Fjords.

NEW for 2004 is a �Single Parent Savers� with child prices from �99 when one adult shares accommodation with one child under 12 years of age. Also NEW are discounts of up to 50% for teenagers 12-15 years when two adults share a room with a teenager. And the Thomson Kidzone Club in Alpe d�Huez is free for children aged 5-10 years inclusive and is open for 3 hours in the morning and afternoon, 4 days a week on a drop-in basis.

Thomson also continues to offer free child places at selected accommodation on every departure date and family value child prices from just �79 to underline the importance of being a family friendly specialist.

Spa centres are becoming more and more popular and a little pampering can be the essential ingredient for a successful holiday. We offer accommodation in the spa towns of Abano Terme, Lake Levico and Sirmione in Italy, Lanjaron in Spain and Bad Ischl in Austria. Additionally we feature �Thermal Centres� including Caldea Thermal Spa near Arinsal in Andorra and the Slovenian Thermal Riviera with over 8000m2 of outdoor pools, waterslides, jets and a host of health and beauty facilities. Many hotels with �wellness centres� and spa treatments are also included in the programme in resorts in Slovenia, Austria and Italy.

Lead-in price is �289 per person at the Leitzinger Apartments in St Wolfgang on Lake Wolfgang, Austria, including return flights from Gatwick to Salzburg, transfers and 7 nights bed & breakfast, departing from Gatwick on May 19th, 2004.
