New York State Team Up With Sport Tours International To Launch New Leisure Cycling Product To The Market

The Basque Country

Piggybacking onto the continued popularity of cycling following the success of Sir Bradley Wiggins in the Olympics last year, New York State has partnered with two of the UK's leading sports travel companies; Sports Tours International and Wheel2Wheel to develop a number of exciting packages for cycling enthusiasts.

Sports Tours International will feature world-class cycling races in New York State, available to book direct through them. Both the famous ‘Tour of the Battenkill’ and ‘Gran Fondo’ routes are now available for 2014, and will include accommodation, international flights and guaranteed entry into the races. They offer budding racers the exciting opportunity to compete with competitors from around the world on a course which runs through some of New York State’s most scenic countryside.

For those looking for a more leisurely cycling holiday, Wheel2Wheel offer recreational cyclists 5 or 6 night self-guided cycling packages, providing maps and a suitably easy paced itinerary through the many small villages, lakes and historic houses that are found in New York State.

In conjunction with the availability of the new packages, New York State has launched a competition offering one lucky winner the chance to win an all expenses-paid trip to compete in the Gran Fondo race. To enter visit www.nylovesu.co.uk
