Mustang Monument Wild Horse Eco-Resort: “It's been one mighty long Journey, but we've made it!'

Mustang Monument Wild Horse Eco-Resort

Nevada USA, London UK 16th June 2014: Owned and run by philanthropist Madeleine Pickens, Mustang Monument, which opens today, is a wild horse eco-resort dedicated to giving a home to America's threatened Mustangs. Heritage and history are integral to the spirit of the ranch, where visiting guests are afforded the sole opportunity in the States to see Mustangs in their natural habitat.

The Eco-Resort is sustainable, and the purpose is to preserve these beautiful horses in their natural mountainous habitat; 900-square miles of protected range that lets the wild mustangs roam freely without any danger of harm.

The campaign to Save America's Wild Mustang Horses would not have been possible if it weren't for the tremendous support that we have received in the past five years. Now in the region of 23 million supporters, the Mustang Monument Wild Eco Resort is steadily increasing its notoriety for being a protector of an American symbol of heritage and freedom.

“It's been one mighty long fight” Madeleine says of the campaign, but with the support of her advisors and the countless friends made along the way, Madeleine is hopeful for the future of the sanctuary and, most importantly, the future of the wild Mustang. “If together we can establish a plan for the permanent retirement and care of these magnificent horses, it will be a legacy that all Americans can be proud of.”

Equestrian enthusiasts, preservationists, animal lovers and those patriotic to America's history and culture have all come together in the celebration and conservation of a beautiful and magical creature. Not only are America's Mustangs being saved, but the sanctuary and our campaign has raised awareness of vulnerable animals in a quest for conservation, and the appreciation of a sacred species.
