The Crown & Garter pub and restaurant with rooms in Inkpen, Berkshire has been awarded the title of 'Best Newcomer' for the entire London and South East region in The Great British Pub Awards. Known as the 'Oscars' of the pub industry, the 'Best Newcomer' category is one of the most competitive.  

The Crown & Garter pub and restaurant with rooms was acquired by the Honesty Group and opened in September 2014 following a grand scale refurbishment.  The pub's ethos is to serve 'good food, simply cooked, nothing too fussy'.  The Crown & Garter pub and restaurant with rooms prides itself on sourcing and using local food and produce and supports local breweries within the area.  The pub also champions micro-distilleries and serves a range of spirits produced by small, independent distilleries.

The Crown & Garter is located at: Great Common Road, Inkpen Common, Near Hungerford, Berkshire, RG17 9QR.  It is open for lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday from 12.00pm-2.00pm and 6.30pm-9.00pm and on Sunday from 12.30pm-2.30pm.
