Join London's leading river boat service, MBNA Thames Clippers (www.thamesclippers.com) this month for a series of live acoustic performances from the capital's top buskers.
Every Thursday throughout November 2016 passengers will be invited to join the 'River Lates' festival to celebrate London's reputation for late-night revelry and enjoy two hour sets from TfL accredited buskers onboard selected MBNA Thames Clippers RB1 services.
Joining the existing timetabled services, passengers will wind their way through the heart of London, passing world-famous landmarks and savouring the city's legendary nightscape as some of the city's top buskers showcase their talent. The musicians will join the 19.55 sailing departing Embankment pier on 3, 10, 17, 24 November and perform a two-hour set. Cruise for the whole set or catch a few tunes as you travel between piers.
Whether enjoying the on-board entertainment with a drink from the bar or getting into the party spirit on their way into town, MBNA Thames Clippers hopes the new River Lates service will encourage more people to travel by boat after dark.
The River Lates line-up includes:
Thursday 3 November – Alex Gibson covering Pop, Folk and Soul classics
Thursday 10 November – Mark Matthews playing funk, Indie and rock n roll
Thursday 17 November – Kath Galing and her easy-listening pop songs
Thursday 24 November – Sarah Coloso covering Folk and Pop classics
