Hyatt Regency Brisbane invites you to experience Le Petit Chef & Friends, a new immersive dining show combining 3D theatre and gastronomy. Before, during and after dinner, the smallest chef in the world and his friends entertain the guests with various performances and recordings in a fun animated journey with delicious dishes. After a brief introduction of the charming protagonists, a virtual cooking competition comes to life. Guests can look forward to a diverse menu featuring Spanish, Italian, French, and Japanese specialties. The interplay of a virtual cooking show and a delicious multicourse menu offers a unique experience for all the senses.

The thoughtfully curated menu begins with the flavours of Spain, iconic tomato salad featuring locally sourced Lockyer Valley tomatoes, complemented by whipped Manchego, Jamón Ibérico, sourdough, and a pine nut crumb. The journey then moves to Italy, where Porcini mushroom tortellini is paired with sautéed Chiodini mushrooms and rich guanciale. Guests travel to France, to enjoy Riverine Black Angus beef sirloin MB2+, served with hand-cut potato frites and a classic tarragon béarnaise. The experience concludes in Japan, with a refined dessert of Nama matcha chocolate, elevated by notes of wasabi and red shiso.

With the vegetarian and Kid's menu variants available, there's something to please every palate, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all guests.
Behind the elaborate animations lies the Belgian artist collective "Skullmapping", founded in 2010 by Filip Sterckx and Antoon Verbeeck. Using 3D mapping technology and profound artistic expertise, the 58 mm small chef was brought to life in 2015.
Starting May 6, 2026, 'Le Petit Chef & Friends' will be showing on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 PM, on Fridays and Saturdays at 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM, and on Sundays at 12:30 PM.
