The main living area, which is large enough to comfortably hold a large dining table for eight as well as three sofas, looks out over enchanting rural views with woodland and rolling hills in the distance.  The two large bi-folding windows pour light into the room and give quick and easy access to the decking, garden and pool.

Pigeon Post, which is situated in the oldest part of the village, next to the Methodist Church, provides a more traditional base from which to enjoy your holiday.  Inspired by the arts and crafts movement, this beautifully finished property offers a chic retreat to retire to after a day on the beach.   It comes with its own private enclosed garden with table, chairs and a barbeque and it’s only 120 meters to the sea.

Inside, this property really comes to life.  The large first floor living room, which has two sofas, armchairs and a log burning stove, opens out onto a balcony with views over the chocolate box thatched cottages of Hope Cove.  Painted in clean whites that accentuate the pastel blues of the sofas, this pretty beamed room has a large chest coffee table, sideboard and book shelves.  Entertainment is provided by a flatscreen TV with Freeview, a DVD player, CD player and iPod docking station.  The house also comes with Wi-Fi access.  

The generous dining room has high ceilings with cream painted beams, and a large bay window creating a light, calm and airy feel to the room.  Its enchanting dining table, sofa, log burning stove, and i-Pod docking station, make this a real favourite for families to gather in. 

Next door the chic open plan kitchen features all the mod cons of contemporary cooking with an electric oven, grill, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer alongside a beautifully restored cast iron range, surrounded by an attractive, carved mantelpiece. 

Upstairs are four gorgeous bedrooms, two of which have king-size beds; one of which can be turned into twins.  The other two have twins and bunks respectively.  The master bedroom is particularly lovely with a balcony, glimpses of the sea, a beautiful bed and a Victorian painted fire surround.  The house has three bathrooms with one on the first floor and two on the second floor.
