If you want front row seats for the most incredible Wash sunsets you cannot get any better than The Heacham House. Situated down an unmade track that runs adjacent to the beach and promenade you are as close to the beach as you can be. The house itself is beautifully appointed with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The kitchen is downstairs with an open plan dining and seating area with access to the decked veranda and BBQ. Upstairs you really get the wow factor when you open the door and see The Wash right in front of you. A glass sided walkway lead to French doors and another balcony. Just perfect for a sundowner. Outside you have your own private steps onto the promenade and beach. Birdwatchers will have a unique view of the mud flats at low tide and the waders and geese migration in the autumn months all from the comfort of your armchair. A very special house indeed.

Mayes Cottage is a traditional brick and flint Norfolk Cottage in central Brancaster. It has just been completely refurbished including the addition of a stunning new kitchen and dining room extension with vaulted ceiling. The rooms are all tastefully decorated with new floorings and furnishings throughout. Many of the original features have been retained including the old front door! The décor is restful and stylish. The kitchen is bespoke with deep granite tops and new appliances. If peace and tranquility is what you're looking for, this stunning conversion of a traditional Norfolk barn dating back to the 1850's is it. Positioned right on Peddar's Way the famous Roman Road that goes right down to the coast, the barn is a perfect place to get away from it all. The conversion is of the highest quality and furnished to a very high standard. Walk into Great Massingham (approx three quarters of a mile) and you will find one of Norfolk's prettiest villages with two large central ponds and the Dabbling Duck pub. Dogs are very welcome at The Dairy and the owner helps at dog agility courses held at the farm weekly, so guests will have access to the fully enclosed paddock for exercising their pets. Walking from the barn is peaceful and traffic free. The whole farm is set in its own grounds of 9 acres complete with resident Alpacas! The accommodation is extremely flexible in that although the barn sleeps 4 plus 2 on a sofa bed, guests will have the option to book the adjoining suite for an extra cost or The Cart Lodge which is across the courtyard and sleeps 4, making it perfect for groups of couples, multiple families or multi generational holidays.
