14.11.2019 - TravMedia is proud to announce that its partners at the first French edition of IMM (International Media Marketplace), Accor, the AJT and the Press Club de France, will once again be by its side for the second annual event, to be held on 11 March 2020 in Paris within the beautiful framework of the prestigious Pavillon Dauphine, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.
"The first IMM in France was a success, and we are looking forward to meeting exhibitors from all over the world in the tourism sector as well as the French press on March 11. We chose this date, just after the ITB Berlin and on the eve of the opening of the World Tourism Fair, two key moments for the sector, to allow as many people as possible to join us. We are particularly proud to benefit once again from the support of Accor, the AJT, and the Press Club de France for our event, which is very promising", commented Karine Foraud, Regional Managing Director France for TravMedia.
For the first IMM France, which took place last March, nearly 150 delegates gathered during the day, and more than 1,000 speed-dating appointments were scheduled.
Launched in 2013, IMM is now recognized worldwide as the world's largest networking event bringing together communicators and stakeholders in the tourism industry with journalists. During this day, tourism stakeholders and communicators welcome journalists, from print, online, and audiovisual media to their tables to discuss their news, events, and innovations in a very effective format, with up to 24 meetings of 15 minutes each, pre-set in advance.

The AJT (Association of Tourism Journalists) was created in 1997 from the merger of two associations of travel journalists. Today, it gathers 170 professionals - editors-in-chief, heads of sections, photojournalists, specialized or independent editors, all dedicated to travel, whether from a documentary, practical, economic, or lifestyle perspective. With 200 media, the AJT embodies the whole range of the press: online, magazine, daily, business or specialized, radio, TV... They are supported by 200 partners who, together, manage the PR of 450 entities in the tourism, hospitality, and transport sectors.

The Press Club de France is both the "House" of journalists, a neutral place where you can hear the "pulse of the profession" and a platform of services and meetings for managers of companies, institutions, embassies and local authorities. Nearly 660 members (397 journalists and 263 executives) joined it to share their experience and ideas in a spirit of open-mindedness that is now recognized by all.
The Press Club gathers journalists and opinion leaders around high-level information. It "deciphers current events with those who make them." Journalists, politicians and business leaders follow one another every month in the Club's gallery. More than 40 debates and events are organized per year and proposed to members.
The Press Club de France has created the European Federation and the International Association of Press Clubs, which bring together 40 Clubs to create a network that ensures its international influence.www.pressclub.fr
