Modify My Route lets users easily change their online trip routing to meet their personal travel preferences for trips across town or across the country.

�If you�d rather travel alongside the Atlantic Ocean on Florida�s Highway A1A instead of nearby Interstate 95, you can do it with a couple easy clicks,� said Coyne. �Want to avoid lake effect snows along Interstate 90 in Ohio by taking Interstate 70 across the state? It�s a snap. Even something as basic as helping friends get to your house in Santa Monica without getting on the 405 can be done simply with Modify My Route.�

After logging on to Internet TripTik� via www.aaa.com and entering their destination and stopovers, users then click on the Modify My Route icon below the map. The pointer becomes a set of crosshairs that users can then place over the road they want to add to change the route. Then just click and Internet TripTik� will automatically configure a new route that includes the selected street or highway.
