KATHMANDU, NEPAL – 18 November 2014 – Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc (NYSE:HOT) today announced its rapidly expanding Aloft brand will make a landmark debut in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Owned by Chhaya Devi Complex Private Limited, the hotel is scheduled to open in mid-2017 as part of a mixed-use development. Aloft Kathmandu Thamel will feature 175 spacious, loft-like rooms, innovative technology and a lively, social atmosphere.

Centrally located, in close proximity to the commercial epicentre and leisure attractions of the city, Aloft Kathmandu Thamel is part of a mixed-use development that will include 6650 square meters of retail space.
