Six restaurants to offer a wide-range of dining options for the festive season

Christmas and New Year's Menus at The Venetian Macao

Portofino: Christmas décor, festive music and seasonal cheer await guests at special wine pairing dinners on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve at this fine Italian restaurant.

The five-course Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner menus both cost MOP 788* per person or MOP 988* per person (with wine pairing). The Christmas Eve menu includes poached Boston lobster, fennel salad and orange emulsion coulis as the appetizer, and pan roasted Pacific grouper with multicoloured beets, sunchokes and lemon butter sauce as the main course; while the Christmas Day menu features poached shrimps with golden beet salad and watercress as the appetizer; and grilled beef tenderloin and braised oxtail in Madeira sauce with gnocchi a la Romano as the main course. There is also a six-course wine pairing menu available on New Year's Eve that costs MOP 888* per person or MOP 1,088* per person (with wine pairing). This feast will include Zarskaya oysters with caviar; lobster and salmon terrine with chervil crème fraiche and microgreens; saffron tagliolini with seared jumbo scallops and crab meat; and veal sirloin with white truffle, port wine jus and roasted winter vegetables.

Bambu: The ever-popular buffet restaurant will be decorated in full Christmas regalia with gingerbread houses and Christmas candies. Along with the usual wide range of dishes from around the world, the Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day dinner buffets will include seasonal offerings such as roasted turkey with sausage and mushroom stuffing and roasted ham with pineapple honey glaze at the carving station, as well as a selection of Christmas cookies and the very traditional Christmas pudding.

Grand Orbit: The Grand Orbit takes diners on a culinary journey around the globe that takes in Portuguese-inspired Macanese cuisine, Chinese dishes, Brazilian churrasco and exotic Indian, Thai and Malaysian cuisines. Grand Orbit is also offering traditional roasted turkey and other roasted delights, with all the trimmings, to take away for either Thanksgiving or Christmas celebrations between Nov. 14, 2014 and Jan. 5, 2015. Dynasty 8: One of Hong Kong Tatler's best restaurants of 2014, Dynasty 8 will be offering two festive set menus made up of authentic Chinese dishes, one for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and another for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day for MOP 688[1] per person. A six-course special menu priced at MOP 688* per person will be available on Dec. 24, 25 and 26. An eight-course New Year Set Menu will also be available on Dec. 31, 2014 and Jan. 1, 2015, at MOP 688* per person. Located on the ground floor of Sands® Cotai Central, Dynasty 8 is open Sundays through Thursdays, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and 6-11 p.m. (until midnight Fridays and Saturdays).

Afternoon Tea at Conrad's Lobby Lounge: The mouth-watering Crystal High Tea menu is available from Dec. 6, 2014 to Jan. 5, 2015 at The Lounge and features savoury snacks such as honey-roasted Christmas ham, pumpkin tartlets, a seafood medley, smoked salmon sandwiches; and sweet delights including chocolate and orange tart, white chocolate and lemon meringue cake and cranberry scones. The high tea set, which includes two hot drinks of either tea, coffee or a delicious hot chocolate, is priced at MOP 168*. There is also a premium afternoon tea menu which includes two drinks - Christmas cocktails, mocktails or delicious hot chocolate - for MOP208*.  For a truly decadent experience, enjoy the deluxe afternoon tea menu which includes two cups of tea or coffee, a Christmas cocktail and an exclusive Conrad Christmas Bear for just MOP268* per person. Conrad Macao is also pleased to welcome back The International School of Macao's children's choir, who will serenade guests with Christmas carols on 7 December and 14 December. Copa Steakhouse: Rated one of the best steakhouses in Hong Kong and Macao, Copa features an open kitchen, allowing guests to appreciate the talented chefs at work preparing the restaurant's signature dishes. The four-course Christmas dinner offered on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day is priced at MOP728* per person and features a wide range of dishes to choose from, including hamachi ceviche with avocado and black pepper crackers, pan roasted foie gras, pan-fried salmon cake with tomato salsa and mint sauce, beef wellington, bacon-wrapped scallops and of course roasted turkey with the trimmings. There will also be Christmas pudding, walnut pie and crème brûlée for dessert. The four-course New Year's Eve dinner is priced at MOP788*and will include Oysters Rockefeller, mushroom soup with black truffles and fried leeks, grilled U.S beef tenderloin, roasted rack of lamb and a selection of desserts.Guests can choose one item from each course.

888 Buffet: This popular spot brings the famous Las Vegas buffet concept to Macao and blends Chinese and South East Asian cuisine by offering Macanese, Japanese, Thai and Chinese favourites.
