Description:  Chicago O'Hare International Airport is the busiest airport in the world, handling nearly 67 million passengers in 2013. O'Hare offers service to more than 220 domestic and international destinations and was named the “Best Airport in North America” for the 10th consecutive year by Global Traveler magazine.

The new world-class International Terminal 5 at Chicago O'Hare was recently unveiled, marking the completion of a $26 million transformation by Westfield featuring 24 new luxury retail and dining destinations – including 11 local Chicago brands – a redesigned TSA checkpoint, and cutting-edge design. The redevelopment is the first since the terminal's construction in 1993. A key feature of the new Terminal 5 is a re-engineered layout that enhances the traveler experience. Previously, 95 percent of the options were located pre- security, making it difficult for passengers to access food and retail while waiting for flights. Of the 24 new dining and retail outlets, nine are airport “firsts” and 17 are Chicago airport debuts.

Shopping:  Chicago O'Hare offers a remarkable collection of internationally-renowned luxury designer shops including Emporio Armani, Michael Kors, Swatch, Salvatore Ferragamo and the world class Tax & Duty Free Shop, including world class brands such as Kiehl's, Longchamp, Tumi, Folli Follie, L'Occitane, Estee Lauder, Christian Dior, Lancome and Chanel.  Local retail favorites also include specialty stores such as Vosges Haut-Chocolat, XpresSpa and I Love Chicago, a high-end gift shop offering handmade gifts and products from local Chicago artists and artisans.

Dining:  Travelers will discover a complete menu of diverse, high-end gastronomy options from full-service restaurants to quick café bites and to-go offerings to take on board.  Unique options include Kofe powered by Intelligentsia, Wow Bao, Urban Olive, R.J. Grunts Burger & Fries, Tocco, Hub 51, Tortas  Frontera and The Goddess and Grocer, a locally owned gourmet deli offering handmade chocolates and desserts.
