The UK's leading walking holidays organisation, HF Holidays, has launched its 2015 holidays with breaks for everyone who enjoys walking.

 “We now have three distinctly different styles of walking break,” says Jim Forward who joined the co-operative society 12 months ago as chief executive.

“Some walkers love the challenge of a famous peak in the company of others who share the same enthusiasm – and we have an outstanding choice of Guided Walking Holidays for them. Some prefer to walk independently at their own pace, and our Country House Escapes provide the perfect base.  The new Walk & More breaks are for people who want to make the most of their weekend in the countryside, getting out and about on foot.”

Walk & More weekends offer a mix of guided – usually gentle – walks with local culture and experiences, for example a walk to a vineyard for a wine-tasting, or a walk which includes time at a nationally-renowned garden.  These weekends are offered at 14 of HF Holidays' 19 country houses, with brochure prices from £339 (or £289 with an early booking offer*).

Country House Escapes are offered at all 19 UK locations, with a free OS map and route recommendations for independent walking, and full board included in breaks that start at £249 for three nights (or £199 with the early booking offer*).

Among new Guided Walking holidays in Britain is 'Wainwright's Howgills & Dales', which incorporates AW's Pennine Journey into day walks during a seven-night stay at Thorns Hall, near Sedbergh. With just three start dates in 2015, the brochure price is £799 (or £649 with the early booking offer*).

Guided Adventurous Walking breaks include 'High Peaks of Snowdonia' from its National Trust property at the foot of Snowdon while guided Walks with a Theme include 'Derwent Valley Heritage Walks' in Derbyshire.

HF Holidays also offers Guided Walking in 17 different European countries, with new holidays for 2015 on La Palma in the Canaries, in Slovenia, Cyprus and Madeira.

Among 38 Worldwide Guided Walking itineraries are new holidays in Hawaii, along Canada's Eastern Seaboard, in Peru, Morocco and Malawi.

The 2015 brochure is available now, with an *Early Booking Offer saving up to £150 on week-long holidays, and proportionate reductions for short breaks. To qualify, the booking must be made by 31 December 2014.
