The LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort has joined forces with the RSPB to give nature a home in a specially created LEGO® wildlife garden, right in the heart of the Resort.
Featuring unique habitats made entirely from LEGO bricks, the garden has been created to mark the first anniversary of the RSPB's Giving Nature a Home campaign and guests will be able to visit it throughout the year.
The Resort's model makers have created six habitats from thousands of individual bricks - a frogitat, a series of hogitats (hedgehog houses) plus a bird bath and bat box - all situated in beautiful landscaped greenery complete with a pond, life sized LEGO creatures and even a human birdwatcher.
A wealth of wildlife already resides on the Resort's 150 acres and the hope is to attract new species to the special garden area as well as inspiring guests to create their own habitats in their back gardens.
The Giving Nature a Home campaign has already seen around 300,000 people pledge to help provide much needed homes for British species whose habitats are being destroyed, exploited or polluted.
Guests can visit the special LEGO wildlife garden at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort from today (Wednesday May 14 2014) all through the May holidays and right to the autumn.
