On Saturday, 23rd November 2013, Florian Keller, the co-founder and Africa Managing Director of specialist tour operator Enchanting-Travels (www.enchanting-travels.com) began an incredible journey to link two continents through soccer. Departing from Nairobi in his all-terrain vehicle, Keller's overland trip will cover some 40,000km in around 200 days before arriving one day before the opening match of the 2014 World Cup on 11th June in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Also along for the ride is the journey's official airline partner, Ethiopian Airlines (www.ethiopianairlines.com).
As one of Africa's foremost carriers, flying to over 70 international destinations - including Nairobi, Sao Paulo and Rio - Ethiopian Airlines' involvement in the "Africa to Brazil" journey as official airline partner has been warmly welcomed. Ethiopian will provide flight assistance for Enchanting-Travels team members joining the trip, and also plan to cover Florian Keller's progress on his journey in the airline's in-flight magazine, Selamta.
The "Africa to Brazil" expedition will take in 25 countries, and some of the world's most fascinating areas - from remote tribes in Ethiopia, along the Silk Road to the endless plains of Mongolia and the hard winter landscapes of Russia's far eastern regions, before crossing over to the Americas. Florian Keller will be joined on sections of the journey by members of the Enchanting-Travels team, as well as handful of media partners, eager to experience the journey for themselves.

The expedition will also be supporting good causes including the Jubilee Scholarship Fund and the Memory Foundation, with the aim of helping other people to pursue their dreams just like the team pursues their dream in embarking on this journey.
